Job Description:

The Senior Project Manager in the business context is a professional responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects. Their role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the specified goals and objectives.

  • Define the project scope, objectives, and deliverables while creating a comprehensive project plan with tasks, timelines, and resources. Identify potential risks and create strategies to mitigate them.
  • Assemble a skilled project team, clearly communicate roles and expectations, and motivate them to achieve the project goals. Provide consistent leadership to ensure project success and team collaboration.
  • Effectively allocate resources and monitor usage to ensure timely task completion. Address resource conflicts and make necessary adjustments to maintain project progress.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage the project budget while ensuring expenses stay within established constraints. Justify the need for additional resources if required.
  • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them throughout the project lifecycle. Implement contingency plans when necessary to manage unexpected challenges.
  • Define quality standards for project deliverables and implement measures to ensure expectations are met. Conduct regular assessments to ensure quality control is maintained.
  • Establish clear communication channels within the team and with stakeholders, providing regular updates. Address issues and concerns swiftly to keep the project on track.
  • Identify key stakeholders, manage their expectations, and maintain open communication throughout the project. Address concerns and keep stakeholders informed about progress.
  • Be flexible and responsive to changes in project scope or requirements. Adjust plans and strategies to tackle unexpected challenges and maintain project momentum.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and conduct a project review to assess lessons learned. Finalize documentation and close out the project.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of work experience as a Project Manager with 2 years in the banking industry.
  • Experienced digital banking project/s such as web/mobile banking apps, or digital payment platforms are required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Can start immediately if possible.
