We’re searching for Reporting Analyst to be part of our diverse team of talent here at NCS!
We are seeking a Reporting Analyst with 4-6 years of experience to join our team. This role involves creating insightful reports, visualizations, and complex spreadsheet models to support data-driven business decisions and target-setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable interacting with business users, understanding their needs, and translating these into actionable reports and insights. Experience in Sales Operations or Finance, along with basic knowledge of the sales cycle and CRM systems, is beneficial.
Essential Functions:
- Engage with business users to understand their needs, decipher business requirements, and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
- Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets and Power BI dashboards to track core business metrics and performance trends.
- Build complex spreadsheet models to perform what-if analysis, enabling data-driven scenario planning.
- Support the target-setting process to assist in establishing and evaluating business goals.
- Own and execute daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc report / dashboards requests to provide timely insights.
- Identify insights through data visualization, ensuring accurate, clear, and compelling reporting.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to refine reporting needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Requirements:
- 4-6 years of experience as a Reporting Analyst or in a similar data-centric role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI, including the ability to build complex models for what if analysis, is mandatory.
- Comfortable with interacting with business users, understanding business requirements, and
- translating them into actionable reports.
- Basic knowledge of the sales cycle and CRM tools is advantageous.
- Experience in Sales Operations or Finance is beneficial.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex information effectively.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with other reporting and data visualization tools.
- Experience in SQL or other data query languages.
