Job Description

We’re looking for a dynamic Customer Service and Community Management Specialist to play a crucial role in the success of our innovative 8-week wellness program. This position offers a unique opportunity to blend customer support with community building, all while promoting health and wellness. Responsibilities

  • Provide top-notch customer service by responding to inquiries via email promptly and professionally, ensuring participant satisfaction throughout the 8-week program
  • Manage and moderate our online community platform, creating a positive, supportive, and engaging environment for all participants
  • Initiate and facilitate engaging discussions on fitness, nutrition, and wellness topics, encouraging active participation and knowledge sharing
  • Monitor community interactions closely, addressing any issues or conflicts with tact and empathy
  • Gather and analyze valuable customer feedback, contributing to the continuous improvement of our program and user experience
  • Collaborate with our content team to create and maintain comprehensive FAQs and support documentation, enhancing self-service options for participants
  • Identify and report on trends in customer inquiries and community discussions, providing insights to help shape future content and features
  • Assist in developing and implementing community guidelines and best practices as our platform grows
  • Contribute to scaling our community management processes, adapting to the evolving needs of our expanding user base

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex health and wellness concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Proven experience in customer service or community management, ideally within the health, wellness, or fitness industry
  • Familiarity with online community platforms; experience with Circle is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Empathetic and patient demeanor, with a genuine passion for helping others achieve their health and wellness goals
  • Basic understanding of fitness, nutrition, and wellness concepts, with a willingness to learn continually and stay updated on industry trends
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage a diverse workload efficiently
  • Tech-savvy with the aptitude to learn new tools and platforms quickly
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive health-related information
  • Flexibility to work in a startup environment, potentially including some non-standard hours to support our global community
