The Senior Business Analyst acts as the liaison between the business units and CIT technical team by analyzing business requirements, translating them to system design and detailed requirements and facilitating communication between the stakeholders.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Gather and document current business processes across business units, identify areas for improvement, and present the analysis to stakeholders and SME’s.
- Facilitate productive discussions with business stakeholders and end users to transform business challenges into well-defined requirements
- Collect, validate, outline, and document requirements using business analysis tools, effectively conveying them to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Guarantee that all stakeholders comprehend the project's requirements and objectives
- Verify if the test cases cover the different business scenarios of the requirement
- Analyze, report, escalate and anticipate gaps, risks, and roadblocks in project implementations
- Lead reviews of business processes and develop strategies
- Together with the project teams, ensure that the solution will meet its quality goals at the best value and based on customer expectations
- Keep abreast of IT solutions and technologies for automating and improving systems
- Perform other duties as assigned, if necessary
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of bachelor's degree - Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering or equivalent
- With a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business analysis
- Familiarity, knowledge, and some experience with the following is an advantage:
- ERP, CRM and ITIL tools
- UML tools and diagrams
- Wireframing
- Automated test tools
- Basic to advance SQL commands
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Analytical, result-oriented, team player, fast learner and dynamic
- Can work with minimum supervision
- Working knowledge in information security and data protection
- Ability to gather, design and apply security controls in the system
- Skilled in utilizing tools for business analysis
- Working knowledge in ERP and CRM platforms, and ITIL tools
- Ability to mentor and lead team members
- Effective communication skills
- Thorough; demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy
- Defines and organizes tasks, responsibilities, and priorities
- Takes responsibility for timely completion of work
- Passion to acquire and update skills and the ability to learn new tools and techniques quickly
- Has a history of handling and supporting successful projects
