Job Role:

  • Reports directly to Operations Manager for service delivery results
  • Communicate team status, tasks accomplishment, and direction (Oversee and monitor day to day operations)
  • Provides status of reporting to client
  • Serves as a focal point to communicate ad resolve issues
  • Escalate issues which cannot resolve by the team
  • Provide guidance with the team based on management direction and client’s direction
  • Develop an action plan that the team will use to reach their goals
  • Lead and facilitate constructive communication (problem solving and collaboration)
  • Discover Training needs and provide coaching and mentoring
  • Focus the team on the tasks at hand or client’s requirements.
  • Perform job tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge in Air and Sea Import Freight Forwarding from customer service until delivery and invoicing
  • Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor
  • Experience in Cargowise
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Decision making skills
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Strong familiarity with internet and MS Office applications
  • Amenable to work in rotating shifts, holidays and weekends
