The Opportunity

The Vice President of Analytics plays a pivotal role in shaping and driving the analytics strategy as a service across Teleperformance Philippines. This senior leadership position demands a deep understanding of data analysis, advanced analytics, and a strategic mindset to leverage data for enhancing business operations and client satisfaction. This role will work closely with our Chief Executive Officer and Senior Leaders in Transformation in building the Analytics capability in Teleperformance.

The Responsibilities and Duties

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the organization's analytics vision and strategy in alignment with the overall business goals. Provide thought leadership in the areas of advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI.
  • Data Governance: Oversee the establishment and maintenance of data governance frameworks to ensure data integrity, quality, and security. Promote data-driven decision-making processes throughout the organization.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing analytics team. Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.
  • Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their analytics needs and deliver customized solutions that drive business value. Present insights and recommendations to senior client stakeholders.
  • Performance Measurement: Design and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor the effectiveness of business processes and strategies. Track and report on performance metrics to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Technology Integration: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in analytics. Drive the adoption and integration of advanced analytics tools and platforms within the organization.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of analytics projects. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

The Qualifications

  • Education: A Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Ph.D. is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in analytics, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the BPO industry or a similar setting.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in analytics, project management, or related fields are a plus.
  • Overall Experience: 10-15 years in the field of analytics.
  • Leadership Experience: At least 5 years in senior leadership or similar executive role.
  • Industry Experience: Significant experience within the BPO industry or closely related sectors.
  • Analytical Expertise: Proficiency in advanced analytics, statistical modeling, machine learning, and AI. Strong understanding of data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy that aligns with business objectives. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Leadership and Management: Proven experience in leading and managing analytics teams. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and inspire others.
