JOB SUMMARY

Our client partner is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper with 3-5 years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing financial transactions, including tracking inventory, recording assets, and building loan amortization schedules. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and payroll administration via Gusto is required. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple financial processes accurately and efficiently.

DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reconcile Accounts: Regularly reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Categorize Transactions: Accurately categorize large volumes of variegated transactions.
  • Class Bookkeeping: Manage financial records for a wide variety of businesses, recording income and related expenses using classes and locations in QuickBooks Online.
  • Inventory Management: Track and manage inventory, ensuring accurate documentation

of all property assets and supplies.

  • QuickBooks Online: Use QuickBooks Online for maintaining accurate records of

transactions, reconciling accounts, generating reports, and ensuring up-to-date bookkeeping.

  • Recording New Assets: Record and categorize newly acquired assets such as property

purchases, renovations, and equipment.

  • Loan Amortization Schedules: Develop and maintain loan amortization schedules for

new assets and loans, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

  • Payroll Administration: Administer payroll through Gusto, including processing employee

payments, tracking benefits, managing tax deductions, and tying the books to the payroll

summary.

  • Invoicing and Payments: Handle invoicing for tenants and clients, process payments to

vendors, and manage accounts payable and receivable.

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements and reports, including income

statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports specific to the clients’ industry and

reporting needs.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and

industry-specific financial regulations.

  • Workpapers: Build documentation and support for the books for both internal and external

review.

  • Training: Teach new and inexperienced staff members and assist in their professional development.
  • Review: Review monthly bookkeeping by other staff members to ensure accuracy.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or any related field
  • QuickBooks Proadvisor Certification preferred.
  • 3-5 years experience in complex bookkeeping
  • Experience in class/location tracking in QBO
  • Experience in managing inventory and recording new assets
  • Experience in building and maintaining loan amortization schedules
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial management software.
  • Strong familiarity with QuickBooks Online and Gusto payroll administration.
  • Experience with Tvalue and Fixed Assets CS is a plus
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
