
Human Resources Business Partner - US

The Role:
As an HR Business Partner (HRBP), you will play a pivotal role in aligning business objectives with employees and management across designated departments and teams. You will act as a key liaison between HR and the business units to ensure that HR strategies effectively support organizational goals.
What Will Your Typical Day Look Like?
- Collaborate with line managers to ensure the right talent is acquired, managed, and developed using IDR’s systems and processes, including succession planning.
- Design compensation packages aimed at developing and retaining key talent critical to business performance and growth.
- Participate in unit/functional budget planning discussions.
- Assist the Director of HR in translating business unit plans into actionable HR strategies and operational plans, monitoring compliance, and initiating corrective actions as needed.
- Provide strategic and tactical workforce planning in alignment with the company’s business plan while liaising with the HR team in Pakistan for effective execution of tasks.
- Support team leads in managing their teams effectively and maintaining high productivity through the use of IDR’s tools and processes.
- Identify learning and development needs and ensure they are communicated to relevant units for action.
- Advise line managers on people management issues, including compliance and performance investigations, while ensuring adherence to IDR policies.
- Coordinate the execution of IDR’s HR practices and policies, serving as the department’s expert on people-related processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to foster a collaborative work environment.
- Ensure clarity in roles and responsibilities among team members, promoting ownership of HR and line responsibilities.
- Uphold and comply with the principles outlined in IDR’s information security policies as they relate to your role.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration with a specialization in Human Resources.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in HR, with a focus on recruitment/talent acquisition, onboarding, and HR operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to initiatives.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and manage competing priorities.
