Job Description
The Business Analyst plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This role involves gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring the delivery of solutions that align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Requirements Gathering:
o Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business needs, objectives, and challenges.
o Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather detailed requirements.
2. Analysis and Documentation:
o Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement.
o Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and process workflows.
3. Stakeholder Management:
o Act as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and third-party vendors.
o Manage expectations and ensure alignment between stakeholders.
4. Solution Development:
o Work closely with developers and project teams to design and implement solutions.
o Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses.
5. Testing and Validation:
o Develop test cases and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT).
o Ensure solutions meet business needs before deployment.
6. Support and Training:
o Provide training and support to end-users post-implementation.
o Maintain documentation and ensure knowledge transfer to relevant teams.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience:
o 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
o Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is an advantage.
• Technical Skills:
o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
o Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
o Basic understanding of databases and SQL is preferred.
• Soft Skills:
o Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino.
o Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
