DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Installation, integration, operation, administration and support of various hardware devices including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, wireless Access Points, Wireless LAN Controllers and other networking devices
- Design IT architectures and implement complex customer environments solutions based Cisco and Dell products
- Communicating with client (and internal) end user and management groups regarding infrastructure design, maintenance, and administration
- Accurately designing and documenting clients infrastructure
- Assess, recommend, plan, and implement complex network and wireless solutions
- Configuring Cisco Layer 2 & amp; Layer 3 devices
- Analyzing and developing network/system designs
- Able to lead network and wireless deployments individually and as part of a team
- Review documentation written by others that describes implementation and operating procedures
- At least 5 years of relevant experience with enterprise-level network design and deployment
- In-depth understanding of network security and access control
- Strong knowledge and configuration experience with networking features and protocols such as spanning tree, ARP, CDP, EIGRP, RIP, OSPF, BGP, VTP, Etherchannel, 802.lQ trunking, MLS, HSRP, QoS, multicast, 802.11, IPsec, Frame Relay, RADIUS/TACACS+, SNMP, T- 1/E-1, BRI/PRI, MPLS, dial-up services, and caching services.
- Proficient with the design, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and monitoring of core LAN/WAN/ MAN services, as well as Wireless solutions
- Expertise in creating repeatable, reliable, scalable network architectures, with fault tolerance, performance tuning, monitoring systems, statistics/metrics collection, and disaster recovery
- Working knowledge (including the ability to setup, configure, upgrade, manage, and troubleshoot) Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, 802.11 wireless access points, Wireless LAN Controllers and load balancers
- Expertise in configuration of Cisco IOS on Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series, Cisco 4500 Series, Cisco Catalyst 3750X, 3560 and 2960S Series Switches
- Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, including packet-level I traffic analysis
- Experience supporting VMware deployments on networking technologies
- Experience with network management tools such as Sniffers, Ethereal, Solarwinds Orion
- Additional areas of expertise in areas such as VoIP
- Cisco CCNP certification required, CCIE Preferred
