As a Mid-Graphic Designer, you will:
- Applying the creative ideas instructed to them by the Senior Designers
- Applying the brand style guide to different mediums
- Coordinating Layout and designing the campaign material working collaboratively with other designers and the Finished Artist
- Creating design solutions for difficult artwork collateral
- Assist designing Local area marketing flyers for stores when they host Insider Rewards nights, Trade Nights, Grand Openings and any other sale events the stores may want to host.
- Assist designing any other additional marketing material the stores may require for Local area marketing
- Creating Point of Sale material for our campaigns. This includes coreflutes, bunting, posters, tickets, Tv slides and any other Visual Merchandise needed.
- Helping assist in applying design concepts to different marketing material
- Working on digital design for our website and eDMs. This includes Webtiles, EDMs, Social Media, digital Ads and any other digital mediums.
- Assist designing Support office material
- Making sure Total Tools brand is being represented consistently across all artwork mediums
Non-negotiables
- Previous design experience
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed targets
- 1-2 year’s experience in a busy design studio
- High proficiency using Adobe CC (Mainly Indesign, Photoshop, XD and Illustrator)
- Attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work to client-supplied briefs
- A good understanding of the print process and knowledge of file preparation for print so you are quick to pick up and resolve potential issues
- Formal qualifications in Certificate/Diploma of Graphic Arts or equivalent
- Proven experience in a busy design studio and internal retail design department
- Understanding of Figma, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Wordpress, CSS and HTML
- Photo manipulation and contouring experience
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with quick turnover of high-volume work
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments
- Demonstrated ability to work accurately and with attention to detail to client-supplied briefs
