I. JOB PURPOSE

  • Contributes in achieving the Treasury Group’s targets by ensuring liquidity requirements of the Bank are met through the generation of large ticket funds from various sources including corporates, institutions and /or high net worth individuals at reasonable costs, , along with offering other products of the Bank to such customers, as appropriate.

II. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that all sales targets are met in a manner consistent with established Bank policies and procedures, in accordance with the market segment assigned by the Division Head.
  • Build up and expand client base through sales calls of existing and prospective clients; ensuring that sources of funds are readily available to meet the objectives of the Treasury Group, while cross selling other products of the Bank, as appropriate.
  • Market and sell various treasury products of the Bank, such as Foreign Exchange, Fixed-Income Securities and Traditional Products to target markets, as available.
  • Manage client’s portfolios, relative to PSBank Treasury transactions; monitors the clients maturity schedule and coordinates with clients on the disposition of placement(s).
  • Establishes good business relationship and rapport with clients and determine their investment requirements with the objective of making PSBank as their retail bank of choice
  • Updates the customers on market trends and forecasts, as well as the Bank’s performance
  • Complies with account opening policies and regulations of the bank, and ensures the completeness of the client’s documentary requirements for transfer to the appropriate custodian units
  • Prepare reports as may be necessary and perform other functions as may be required by supervisors from time to time
  • Actively participate in Service Quality initiatives, and ensures that satisfactory ratings in such initiatives are attained
  • Attend seminars and training programs related to their job
  • Responsible for the confirmation and approval of branch clients in the Foreign Exchange Dealing Systems (FEDS)
  • Actively participate in the Bank’s sustainable finance-related activities and performs functions as assigned, to help achieve sustainable finance and other sustainable goals of the Bank.

III. JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • College graduate preferably any business related course
  • Working knowledge of various investments, markets and products
  • SEC Licensed Fixed Income Market Salesman
  • Certified Treasury personnel
