In this key role, you will drive financial performance, accountability, and strategic decision-making across Discrete Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and SHES functions. You will work closely with senior leadership, providing financial insights and ensuring alignment with Orica’s global strategic objectives.

As a trusted finance partner, you will oversee financial reporting, manage cost centers, and enhance budgeting and forecasting processes. Your expertise will be instrumental in evaluating business cases, supporting enterprise-wide projects, and identifying cost optimization opportunities. You will also lead process improvements, leveraging automation and analytics to enhance financial reporting and decision-making.

To excel in this role, we are looking for a results-driven finance professional with strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to communicate complex financial data effectively.

This role will be operating on a hybrid setup in our Ortigas office.

What You Will Be Doing

Financial Operations & Reporting

  • Consolidate and analyze financial performance across Discrete Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and SHES.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting, leveraging tools such as SAP, Power BI, and Excel.
  • Review and assess financial data to support decision-making and compliance with group standards.

Business Partnership & Strategic Support

  • Partner with senior leadership to align financial strategies with business objectives.
  • Manage cost centers and JV recharges efficiently, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
  • Provide financial oversight for enterprise-wide projects and capital investment decisions.

Performance Management & Analysis

  • Drive accuracy in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Evaluate business cases using key financial metrics (RONA, NPV, ROI).
  • Support cost reduction initiatives and manage financial risks and opportunities.

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Develop and implement automated financial reports to improve efficiency.
  • Enhance financial processes through data-driven insights and lean methodologies.
  • Work closely with global teams to optimize product costing and financial reporting.

What You Will Bring

  • 5+ years post-graduate experience in accounting or finance.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Business discipline.
  • Professional designation (CA, CMA, or CPA).
  • Experience in a large, global business, preferably in manufacturing or operations.
  • Proficiency in SAP, SAP Hana, Power BI, and Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and stakeholder management experience.
