YOUR ROLE
- Reporting to the Manager within the Creative Team at McCann Worldgroup Philippines, Inc., the Copywriter will work on creative projects across print and digital initiatives, including promotional pieces, integrated brand campaigns, and web/mobile projects. Working closely with other members of the creative team and creative leadership, you’ll write super compelling copy and deliver breakthrough creative concepts that reach our client’s customers in new ways. Partnering with other creative and content team members, you will integrate these concepts into high-quality solutions that engage the targeted customer and keep our clients asking for more.

Your Responsibilities
- Provide creative concepting and execution of integrated campaigns that are effective across digital, print and social mediums.
- Partner with cross-functional creative teams (Creative Strategy, Content & Social, and Development) to tell our clients’ stories in amazing ways and translate them across a broad mix of media/platforms.
- Write compelling, engaging copy for a range of vehicles from web to print and social media to broadcast.
- Proactively seek to stay ahead of trends, market developments, technology and creative & business opportunities.
- Deliver award-winning (and award-worthy) work that inspires and generates measureable business returns for clients.
- Partner with cross-functional creative team members, including Creative Strategy, Content & Social and Development to generate integrated campaigns that build engagement from the end customer.
- Develop and cultivate relationships with Project Management and Creative Production teams that fosters collaboration.
- Show team commitment, pride, and most importantly trust in order to facilitate cooperation and motivation among staff to accomplish our goals.
- 1-3 years of copywriting experience
- Ability and willingness to push for the best creative solution
- Highly creative/strategic thinker (and doer) with an eye for detail
- Understand the value of a customer-led approach combined with the ability to deliver strong creative work
- Demonstrated business and emotional maturity with a willingness to hold yourself/others accountable, act with a sense of urgency, and provide timely communication
- Strong presentation skills. Ability to sell creative ideas with confidence, earn respect, and influence others.
- Outstanding verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to produce compelling, engaging copy and content
- Strong creative brainstorming, ideation, and related problem-solving skills
- Big picture thinker, not afraid to take risks and encourage team members to do the same
- Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Able to easily adapt to change with experience in an office going thru rapid growth
