Role Description
The Audio Engineer is a position that has the responsibility to preserve the original intent of content creation and provide the best localized dubbing services that meet client needs and Bespoke Lab’s standards. The Audio Engineer would contribute to the process of delivering content by dubbing animations, movies, documentaries, and dramas for various age groups into languages around the world.
1. Dubbing Project Management
- Managing an end-to-end recording process with an appropriate approach toward the talents to ensure that each project results in clean and high-quality audio.
- Recording, Editing, 2.0 and 5. 1 mixing, mastering, and manipulating recorded and live sound appropriately as well as identifying and solving issues that arise such as background noise, echo, distortion, etc.
- Testing and troubleshooting equipment regularly and replacing any faulty components to minimize errors during usage.
- Combining and balancing all dialogue audio with music and effects during post-production.
- Collaborating with all departments/teams related to meet the client’s needs and mix to a 5.1 Surround Sound industry standard.
- Ensuring that every sound is correctly and properly used, technically and stylistically.
2. Creative design mixing for promotional videos, dramas, and movies
3. In addition, actively hands-on and give consulting for the work of the dubbing team if necessary
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of strong dubbing, commercial film studio recording, and audio post-production experiences
- Experienced in recording, editing, 2.0 & 5.1 mixing, and mastering
- Strong programming skills within the relevant development environment(s)
- Ability to objectively evaluate code as part of a formal review process
- Ability to communicate effectively and build partnerships with voice-over artists and other engineers/teams
- Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision
- Able to manage multiple, competing tasks and be self-directed in a quickly evolving environment
- Positive attitude and ability to receive and provide objective and constructive feedback.
- Experienced with Dolby ATMOS mix (preferably)
- Ability to speak business-level English (preferably)
