  • Maintain billing records in compliance with company policies and HIPAA regulations.
  • Participate in audits, identify billing errors, and implement preventative solutions.
Customer Service & Communication
  • Respond to patient and provider inquiries regarding billing issues.
  • Work with insurance companies to resolve claim disputes.
Experience and Proficiency
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • High attention to detail with strong knowledge of mental health billing codes (CPT, ICD-10).
  • Understanding of insurance policies and billing procedures, especially in mental health services.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; medical billing/coding certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience, preferably in mental health or healthcare settings.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in medical billing software and EMR systems.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and mental health billing regulations.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and grow into a leadership role.
