We are looking for a Senior People Experience, Business Partner, based out of Manilla to support our rapid growth in the APAC region.

As a Senior People Experience, Business Partner you will collaborate with your colleagues and management team to provide expertise in the areas of employee relations and organizational development. You will provide training and development strategies, conduct training, and ensure positive employee morale in alignment with Milestone’s Values and people policies for your region. Reporting to the HR Director, APAC

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Ensure employee relations concerns are thoroughly investigated and resolved in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with appropriate local disciplinary procedures.

• Collaborate seamlessly with diverse teams to address and resolve intricate employee relation issues.

• Review staffing and attrition trends and make appropriate recommendations to management based on collected data and observations.

• Advise on the appropriate course of action on all performance-related employee relations.

• Manage the leave process and educate managers on specific policies related to: PTO, absences, maternity, paternity & parental leave, flexible working requests and leavers and monitoring of same.

• Assist with the L&D across the business including delivering face to face or virtual training. Provide oversight and support for mandatory training initiatives

• Create and promote career progression opportunities for employees at the site.

• Promote learning and skills development for local teams.

• Support leadership development initiatives by ensuring that leaders participate in learning programs.

• Build strong, collaborative relationships with managers and the broader HR Team.

• Work closely with and support the payroll team with monthly cut-off’s providing benefits information / monthly reports from benefits providers as needed.

• Provide direction on compliance for countries in region.

• Promote positive employee morale and culture in support of Milestone’s Values.

• Advise employees and management as required to ensure consistency and fairness in the application of company policies and practices.

• Act as a coach and adviser to respective business units, a resource to employees, and a role model to all.

• Work on and partner with the global PX team on a variety of HR projects.

• Conduct new hire orientations, training, and exit interviews.

• Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives at the site, ensuring an environment where all employees feel respected and valued.

• Ensure employees are aware of and have access to wellbeing programs, employee assistance programs (EAP), and other support resources.

• Create a supportive and safe work environment where employees feel comfortable reaching out for help when needed

• Health and Safety, Act as H&S officer as per DOLE requirements

• Serve as point of contact in event of natural disaster or business disruption

• Serve as the main office contact and provide support to facilities and benefits teams.

• Perform additional duties as appropriate and required by the role.

What You Will Need to Succeed

• 7+ years of experience in HR, including 2+ years in a Sr HR Generalist role preferably minimum of 3 years in business partner.

• IT or high-tech industry experience.

• Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge

• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on compliance and risk management.

• Experience managing the disciplinary and performance improvement process.

• Experience of and liaising with governing bodies such as the department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and Ministry of Manpower (MOM).

• Experience in managing Health and safety trainings and duties.

• Profound understanding of HR Practices, Policies, Labor Laws, and Employee Relations.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle sensitive matters with tact and diplomacy.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Proficient IT skills particularly the use of HRIS systems, Workday a plus.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Fluency in English and a second language is a plus.

• Experience working with countries in the APAC region.

• HR qualification.
