Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with co-engineers, sub-contractors, suppliers, and site office on daily work plans, accomplishments, critical schedules, and quality control/assurance policies
- Report site coordination issues with sub-contractors and team members
- Coordinate safety efforts, quality control, and ISO quality manuals during work hours and weekly sub-contractor meetings
- Interpret plans, drawings, details, and specifications for sub-contractors and specialty contractors
- Inspect all incoming materials, equipment, and tools against specifications and drawings, and control any defective items
- Attend laboratory testing of project site samples and ensure laboratory equipment is calibrated
- Perform daily onsite inspections of sub-contractor workmanship and materials, review daily QC sub-contractor reports, and prepare QA reports
- Proactive in quality control and project supervision
- Check shop drawings and as-built drawings
- Prepare calculations, technical reports, terms of reference, bid documents, and estimates for proposed projects
- Review and evaluate technical specifications of assigned projects
- Analyze design issues, respond to RFIs, RFAs, and bid queries, and recommend corrective actions
- Create technical reports and documentation as required for projects
- Review shop drawings from contractors to ensure compliance with specifications
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate project details.
- Performs other related tasks that maybe assigned from time to time
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Licensed Engineer is a plus but not required
- Experience in construction/project management is a plus
- Able to physically report on site located in Lemery, Batangas
- This role is under a Project-based contract
