The DCX Client Services - Home Based Senior Bookkeeper will work as a full-time employee for a growing business based in the United States. You will get a chance to learn new skills as well as demonstrate skills you've learned in the past. You will be responsible for closely following the instructions and processes outlined by our client.

The daily tasks will vary so it will be necessary to be very flexible in this position. Other necessary characteristics of the job include having a strong attention to detail, ability to work well with co-workers, and a desire to learn new work skills.

Role Details

  • Work Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST (USA)
  • Workdays: Monday through Friday (USA)
  • Written and spoken English skill: Very Proficient
  • Salary Range: 65,000 - 75,000

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full accounting cycle, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and month-end/year-end close processes.
  • Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Enter and record payments into our ERP system (SAP B1)
  • Reconcile all bank, factor and credit card accounts monthly.
  • Quarterly audit preparations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Handle payroll processing
  • Maintain and monitor budgets, providing variance analysis and recommendations.
  • Work closely with external accountants or auditors for tax preparation and year-end audits.

Additional Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper, Accountant, or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • CPA certification
  • Experience with platforms like Bill.com, Ramp, or Rippling
