Strategic Sourcing Officer performs extensive and complex technical analysis related to strategic sourcing of competent/reliable suppliers of Office Supplies, FFEs and Services locally and abroad in accordance with the established policies and regulations. He/she must be able to develop thru logical process a purchasing plan on where, when, what to buy likewise the “should be” price of an item.

Conducts research, evaluates and purchases, supplies, FFEs and services based on price/performance (after-sales service, quality and warranty) and value for money concept; writes specifications, prepares bid documents and handles bidding process, analyzes bid results and makes recommendations. Prepares plans, budget and document new and revised procedural guidelines. Facilitates and/or process accreditation of competent and reliable suppliers.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any four year Business course. - A graduate of any Engineering course is an advantage.
  • Experience or knowledge in modern Purchasing method.
  • At least two years experience in purchasing function.
  • Knowledge in Product importation is an advantage.
