Job Overview

The BIM Specialist is a member of the production team that will create a majority of the drawings for a project. The role will work closely with the BIM Job Captains and BIM Manager to create drawings that are of the highest level of detail and accuracy.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Work under direction of BIM Job Captains and BIM Manager.

· Revise models based on model reviews and ensured accuracy of models.

· Adhere to BIM execution plans and BIM project workflow criteria.

· Produce accurate construction documents from BIM models.

· Create custom parametric families based on project requirements and specifications.

· Review and provide solutions/ implement MEPF hierarchy for minor BIM clashes and assist Job Captain in ensuring formal delivery of reports for major clashes and design issues.

· Assist Job Captain in implementing the use of correct shared coordinates in all projects.

· Assist Job Captain in monitoring scheduled submissions, task delegations, and actual team progress.

Qualifications

· Graduate of BS Architecture or any Engineering Course.

· PRC license is a plus but not required.

· At least 3 years work experience in BIM with 5 years total work experience using Revit.

· Skilled in use of AutoCAD and Revit, and other BIM software.

· Knowledgeable in plan reading of at least 3 AEC disciplines.
