Business Development Manager
In your role as Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving national and international sales for Pokit Innovations' cutting-edge product range. You will play a key role in expanding our client base and revenue streams through strategic sales initiatives and relationship management. As an experienced sales professional with a strong understanding of technology and commercialisation, you will establish and manage distributor sales relationships, develop commercial partnerships to support our SaaS business model, and drive product sales by engaging with commercial enterprises. Your expertise will contribute strategically to the growth and development of Pokit's B2B model.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities are:
- Establishing and maintaining distributor sales relationships with wholesalers.
- Building and managing commercial partnerships to support a SaaS business model.
- Driving product sales by engaging with commercial enterprises.
- Contributing strategically to the growth and development of Pokit's B2B model.
- Managing the sales lifecycle and optimising lead and opportunity conversions.
- Qualifying and developing business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Following industry trends and liaising with key industry partners.
Skill and Experience
The following skills and experience are required for this role:
- 5 or more years of professional experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the technology, manufacturing, or electronics industries.
- Experience establishing and managing B2B distributor relationships.
- Demonstrated ability in B2B sales and commercial negotiations.
- Excellent organisational, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.
