Job Description

As an Insurance Customer Service Representative, you’ll be at the forefront of client interactions in this exciting remote position. You’ll handle a variety of tasks crucial to the agency’s success, from answering client inquiries to processing important documentation for both personal and commercial insurance lines. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your insurance industry expertise while working with a diverse clientele. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients, answering incoming calls and responding to inquiries about insurance products and services
  • Process and issue certificates of insurance, including forms 24, 25, 27, and 28
  • Manage and update client information in the agency’s Hawksoft management system
  • Address basic questions about personal and commercial insurance lines, ensuring clients receive accurate and helpful information
  • Follow up with clients on pending matters and documentation, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with senior agents by transferring complex inquiries when necessary
  • Perform administrative tasks related to policy management and customer service, contributing to the agency’s overall efficiency

Requirements

  • Experience in property and casualty insurance, including personal lines (auto, home, umbrella) and commercial lines
  • Familiarity with insurance agency management systems, particularly Hawksoft or similar
  • Proficiency in issuing certificates of insurance and understanding various insurance forms
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a neutral accent
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to build positive client relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace for remote work
  • Ability to access and navigate agency systems securely from a remote location
