The Role:

We are looking for an experience trainer that can deliver a Corporate Governance course that has previously been developed. The intended audience for the course includes senior officials from the public sector and members of the management board and senior management from public and private sector companies in Albania. The course will be delivered a number of times annually following a schedule to be agreed. The success candidate must meet the follwoing requirements as closely as possible.

Required attributes

· At least five years’ experience of corporate governance, board advisory, compliance and risk management in private sector organizations, academia or public sector bodies;

· Very good understanding of OECD principles of corporate governance for SOEs. Preferably familiarity with World Bank literature on public sector corporate governance;

· Proven knowledge of the progress made to date with introducing best practice (OECD) corporate governance principles in the public sector in Albania;

· Ability to prepare interactive materials on best practice (OECD) corporate governance in the public sector for breakout sessions to augment lecturer presentation and consolidate student learning;

· Experience of presenting corporate governance training materials engagingly within a time-constrained setting over several days;

· Albanian mother tongue, fluent English.

Desirable attributes

· More than five years’ experience of corporate governance, board advisory, compliance and risk management in private sector organizations, academia or public sector bodies;

· Experience with both private and public sector organizations, including board-level engagements, is desirable.

· Direct or indirect involvement in the development of codes of best practice corporate governance in Albania based on international models;
