About the Role
We are looking for a Content Management System (CMS) Specialist to join our team at Maybank Philippines. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and implementing website updates using our CMS platform. You will work closely with various business units to understand their requirements and ensure that website changes are delivered accurately and on time. If you have at least 2 years of experience in CMS management, a strong technical background, and excellent communication skills, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Manage Website Updates:
- Use the CMS platform to implement website changes, including content updates, image replacements, and multimedia integrations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the CMS to ensure smooth website operations.
Collaborate with Business Units:
- Work closely with different Business Units (BUs) and Requesting Units (RUs) to gather and understand their website change requests.
- Act as the main point of contact between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
Front-End Development:
- Apply your knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create and modify web pages and templates.
- Ensure that all website updates are responsive and provide a seamless user experience across devices.
- Utilize PHP (preferred) to support back-end integrations and enhance website functionality.
Quality Assurance:
- Test all website changes thoroughly to ensure they function as intended and are free of bugs.
- Verify cross-browser compatibility and usability before deployment.
- Conduct post-launch reviews to confirm that updates meet business requirements.
Documentation and Training:
- Maintain clear and detailed documentation of all website changes, processes, and workflows.
- Develop user guides and training materials to help CMS users and stakeholders navigate the system effectively.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in web development and CMS technologies.
- Propose and implement improvements to enhance website performance and user experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience managing and implementing website changes using CMS platforms.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development.
- Experience with PHP (preferred) for back-end integration and functionality.
- Familiarity with OpenText CMS or other enterprise-level CMS platforms is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and documentation is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles.
