Job details
Work schedule:
- 3:00 PM to 12:00 MN; Monday-Friday
- Hybrid work arrangement (1-2 days per month onsite)
Office:
- One Ayala, Makati City
What you’ll be doing:
- Daily bookkeeping (AP, AR, Bank and CC Transactions).
- Month end bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintain accounting schedules and propose adjusting entries.
- First review of accounting reports during month end (P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow).
- Preparation of management reports.
- Communicate effectively with relevant parties either written or verbal.
- Attend trainings to keep abreast of updates in accounting software.
- Share knowledge when needed.
- Maintain admin schedules/monitoring schedules where needed.
- Handle staff and monitor workload where needed.
What will make you a great fit:
- Associates or two-year degree equivalent required in Accounting, Finance or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Experience in various functions of back-office and bookkeeping including processing of accounts payable and disbursements, processing billing/AR invoices to client’s customers, payroll processing and recording.
- QuickBooks experience required.
- Experience in account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations.
- Experience in monthly/quarterly/annual close procedures and review of client’s Financial Statements
- Good oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present accounting concepts in a clear and concise manner to the team and to clients.
- Proficient in the use of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Focusing on organization of transactions and paying attention to details within the reconciliations and supporting details
- Ability to handle a variety of different tasks for multiple clients and always meet multiple deadlines while demonstrating cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.
- Ability to problem-solve and think quickly, creatively, and logically to respond to complex client inquiries in a timely manner.
