POSITION SUMMARY

The role of Solution Architect is to provide specialist architecture, design and implementation experience to support various enterprise-wide services and digital-experience projects. The role will partner with IT Business Services, Product Managers, Project Managers and other Architects to support portfolio planning and service development. The solution architect will also support development efforts and ensure technology governance processes executed. The solution architect will work with other architects to build architectures that support current and future product initiatives. This role will also lead activity of developing and influencing target architectures and will work with vendors, product managers and other architects. This role is also responsible for driving service improvement and efficiencies while considering operational excellence. The solution architect role demands strong technical background and experience either a senior backend developer or an integration developer or architect. The ability to prioritize, communicate and deliver integrated applications and products is a must. A strong understanding of design patterns and architectures is preferred. A senior backend or integration/SOA developer willing to transition into a solution architect role may be considered.

Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in backend or micro-services development using s Golang, NodeJs, Java, C/C++, C# or similar
  • Experience or basic understanding in integration or interface development using service-oriented architecture platforms or similar such as Kong API, Apigee, Oracle SOA, IBM WebSphere, etc.
  • Experience building microservices for REST/GRPC APIs and real-time data streaming services
  • Experience in a DevOps culture for hybrid-cloud-based software solutions
  • Public Cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure or similar technology stack is a plus
  • Docker, Kubernetes, GKE experience is a plus

Technology Stack Knowledge:

  • Languages (any): GoLang, NodeJs, Java, Angular, React and any similar backend or micro-services programming languages.
  • Cloud (preferred, but not required)
  1. AWS (S3, Lambda, Step Functions, Cognito, SQS, SNS, RDS, DynamoDB)
  2. GCP (Pub/Sub, Firebase, Cloud Function, Cloud SQL, Cloud MemoryStore)
  • Platform: Docker, Kubernetes, Lambda, Hasura
  • Ops: Git, Gitlab, & CI/CD
  • Databases / Caching: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis or any similar RDBMS or No-SQL database platforms

Work Setup: Full-time, Onsite
