Job overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sustainability-focused professional to work on interesting, large projects and portfolios. You'll work as a part of our global team with a mandate to support our North American and European offices in delivering sustainable projects for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our Global Sustainability teams on a variety of workplace and buildings projects.
- Assist in the assessment and certification of building projects across a range of performance criteria, especially but not limited to LEED and WELL
- We are looking for team members to have experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Carrying out building assessments from technical documentation and desktop studies, especially but not limited to LEED and WELL
- Developing documentation as evidence for building assessments, especially but not limited to LEED and WELL
- Selecting and vetting materials and equipment for sustainability and wellbeing projects
- Carbon accounting
Qualifications and Key Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field – sustainability, architecture, engineering, interior design, environmental science, or equivalent.
- 2-4 years of experience in delivering sustainability consultancy projects for clients. Previous experience with sustainable buildings certifications such as LEED and WELL is an asset. Industry qualifications (LEED AP / WELL AP) are preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work closely with remote teams in different time zones
