POSITION SUMMARY:
The Infrastructure Manager are responsible for providing the strategic direction for the infrastructure and lead the development of infrastructure strategy and architecture standards and procedures for the organization that includes planning, installation, maintenance, and upgrade of IT systems and personnel. Together with the infrastructure lead and systems admin engineers, the Manager will provide a reliable and highly available server infrastructure service to users.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information management or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of IT experience including managing teams responsible for architecture design and deployment, systems lifecycle management and infrastructure planning and operations.
- Experience in areas such as Infrastructure design and administration, data center operations, database administration, and systems programming and administration
- Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.
- Strong management and people development skills.
- Understanding of ITIL practices.
- Ability to think logically and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage internal and external projects from inception to completion.
- Design and execute short- plus long-term strategic plans to assure infrastructure capacity attains current and future needs.
- Manage and establish priorities for maintenance, design, development, and analysis of entire infrastructure systems.
- Supervise the data center group and lead, direct, and utilize knowledge on best practices in area related to infrastructure.
- Report and prepare strategies to maintain server infrastructure.
- Ensure apt security levels on the network, infrastructure, and servers are maintained.
