As a Business Intelligence Analyst, You Will
- Maintain customer-level sales forecasts; coordinate with sales team to make changes
- Gather and analyze business requirements that lead to the design and development of interactive reports, visualizations, and dashboards using Power BI, Excel, and related tools
- Gather, clean, and prepare data for analysis
- Perform data exploration and advanced analysis
- Ensure data security meets best practice
Non-negotiables
- 3-5 years working with data in a Power BI environment
- Proficiency in Power BI development, including report and dashboard creation
- Experience with SQL for data manipulation and extraction
- Knowledge of DAX for creating calculations Strong analytics skills including an understanding of data modeling and data visualization concepts
- Experience with data cleaning and preparation techniques
- Strong communication skills to present insights to stakeholders and to communicate effectively with fellow team members
- Preferred experience (but not required):
- U.S. CPG/food/grocery industry
- Syndicated data sources such as Circana/IRI, SPINS, or
- Trade promotion management systems such as Vividly and
- Retailer data portals such as Walmart Luminate/Scintilla,
- Basic understanding of data warehousing using Azure
Preferred Skills/expertise
- Timeliness & Efficiency: Consistently delivers assigned projects and tasks on or before deadlines, ensuring minimal need for rework.
- Data Accuracy & Quality: Maintains a high level of accuracy in reporting, with minimal errors in data extraction, transformation, and visualization.
- Stakeholder Satisfaction: Demonstrates effective communication and responsiveness to business needs, as measured by feedback from key stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifies and implements improvements that enhance reporting efficiency, automation, or data usability.
- Adherence to Best Practices: Follows industry standards and company policies regarding data security, governance, and visualization best practices
