Position Overview: As a Business Development Manager he/she will play a crucial role in driving our sales and revenue growth objectives. He/She will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building client relationships, and closing deals in their assigned market segment.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Manage the end to end process of business development with clients, from prospecting to signing the contracts
- Prospecting new clients through different means.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other lead generation activities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals. Negotiate terms and close sales agreements with prospective customers.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product or service enhancements.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and other relevant reports to Operations / Business Development Head

QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in business development in B2B sectors.
- Minimum of 5 years working experience business development or commercial role in ecommerce industry, preferred background with ecommerce platform, agency, retail or distributor or brand.
- Understanding of the e-commerce landscape an advantage, knowledge in 3PL logistics/ ecommerce channel management is preferred.
- Strong network with consumer brands and within the ecommerce and retail industry.
- Strong relationship management and negotiation skills, both external as internal
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
