Job Summary
The City of Bessemer is seeking a qualified Assistant Golf Professional to assist the Head Golf Professional in managing the golf course, golf shop, clubhouse, and on-site restaurant. This position involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring the maintenance of the course, and managing inventory for both the golf shop and restaurant. The Assistant Golf Professional will also contribute to budgeting and pricing decisions, as well as promote the course and events to local schools, youth programs, and businesses. - Performs public/community relations activities such as interacting with schools, youth programs, and golf lessons to promote the golf course to local businesses, organizations, groups and individuals.
