Strategic Capability Development:

  • Oversee the development of learning programs and interventions, ensuring they are aligned with business needs and promote a culture of continuous learning.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness through data analytics and feedback to ensure the impact on employee performance and business outcomes.
  • Lead initiatives on career pathways and competency frameworks that guide employee development and mobility across the organization.

Innovation in Learning Solutions:

  • Champion the adoption of innovative learning methodologies and technologies (e.g., digital learning platforms, microlearning, gamification) to improve engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Research and pilot emerging learning trends to future-proof the learning and development landscape within the company.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of specialists, ensuring high levels of performance, development, and alignment with business goals.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and knowledge-sharing within the team and across the broader organization.
  • Support the career development of team members through coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing insights on the development and deployment of talent strategies.
  • Ensure close collaboration with HR business partners and other relevant stakeholders to drive learning programs that meet organizational and employee development needs.
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships, ensuring programs are delivered on time and within budget.

Operational Excellence:

  • Lead the operational execution of learning programs, including scheduling, resource management, and tracking.
  • Continuously monitor and improve operational processes related to the development, delivery, and evaluation of learning solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the Capability Development function to enhance service delivery and organizational impact.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification in Learning and Development is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Learning and Development, with a strong focus on capability development and program management.

Skills:

  • Strong expertise in instructional design and learning technologies, including LMS platforms, eLearning tools, and blended learning solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data insights for decision-making and program optimization.
  • Proven track record in managing and executing capability-building programs with measurable business outcomes.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and manage a team.
