Senior Financial Accountant (US)
Job Title: Senior Accountant (US)
Work Schedule:
- 12:30 am to 09:30 am (normal) Tuesday - Saturday | 11:30 pm to 08:30 am (DST) Monday - Friday
Work Specific Setup and Location
- Hybrid | One Ayala, Makati City (Required to report onsite during monthly/quarterly meetings and when required by the client/manager)
What you’ll be doing:
- Shadow, review, and/or prepare fund financials, property financials, and operating financials to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reporting
- Calculate management fees and carried interest in accordance with the firm’s investment agreements and industry best practices.
- Prepare capital calls and distribution notices, ensuring clear and timely communication with investors
- Monitor and project cash needs to support the firm’s investment and operational activities
- Support the audits of various entities and investments, serving as a primary point of contact with external auditors
- Liaise with tax accountants and coordinate the preparation and filing of tax returns for the firm’s entities and investments
What will make you a great fit:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from a 4-year college or university
- 3+ years of experience at a private equity, hedge fund, fund administrator, audit firm OR 4+ years of experience at a CPA firm handling full cycle of accounting and supporting documentation
- A strong understanding of US GAAP, particularly in fund and partnership accounting (a CPA is not required for this role, but will be heavily considered)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience in Yardi is a plus.
