Job Title: Senior Accountant (US)

Work Schedule:

  • 12:30 am to 09:30 am (normal) Tuesday - Saturday | 11:30 pm to 08:30 am (DST) Monday - Friday

Work Specific Setup and Location

  • Hybrid | One Ayala, Makati City (Required to report onsite during monthly/quarterly meetings and when required by the client/manager)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Shadow, review, and/or prepare fund financials, property financials, and operating financials to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reporting
  • Calculate management fees and carried interest in accordance with the firm’s investment agreements and industry best practices.
  • Prepare capital calls and distribution notices, ensuring clear and timely communication with investors
  • Monitor and project cash needs to support the firm’s investment and operational activities
  • Support the audits of various entities and investments, serving as a primary point of contact with external auditors
  • Liaise with tax accountants and coordinate the preparation and filing of tax returns for the firm’s entities and investments

What will make you a great fit:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from a 4-year college or university
  • 3+ years of experience at a private equity, hedge fund, fund administrator, audit firm OR 4+ years of experience at a CPA firm handling full cycle of accounting and supporting documentation
  • A strong understanding of US GAAP, particularly in fund and partnership accounting (a CPA is not required for this role, but will be heavily considered)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience in Yardi is a plus.
