The Corporate Planning Finance Business Partner (FBP) Associate is primarily responsible for assisting Finance Business Partners in providing relevant financial and non-financial information to the Business/Support Units.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares comprehensive performance report of the business to facilitate strategic and tactical decision-making and to ensure achievements of financial and non-financial targets
  • Prepares the budget, creates forecasts, and assists the finance business in financial planning and business strategies aligned with the bank's overall objectives
  • Manages and endorses OPEX, CAPEX and headcount availment of the business segment to ensure that it is operating within budget and that any reasonable variances are justified and properly approved.
  • Assists in the earmarking of unbudgeted expenses through coordination of unutilized budgets from persons-in-charge of concerned Business Units
  • Monitors the financials and non-financial metrics performance of the business
  • Coordinates with FBP Accounting, if applicable, to ensure books are well managed.
  • Collaborates with the business units on the development of new products and services to address possible accounting issues and pricing models

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management, Banking & Finance, Mathematics, and Statistics
  • Knowledgeable in bank accounting, policies and procedures
  • Good in oral and written communication skills
  • Computer literate (MS Office and power point)
  • Willing to be assigned in Makati City
