INTERMEDIATE ACCOUNTANT
Shift: 7AM-4PM PHT
Arrangement: Full Time

Job Description:
Key responsibilities of the role include the following client-facing services:
Preparation and lodgement of corporate income tax returns and FBT returns
• Preparation of financial statements
• Preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS
• Review of BAS and IAS returns
• Assist the Senior Manager Accountant on adhoc tax matters in relation to income tax and GST
• Review of payroll and other payroll related matters (STP filings, pay runs, ETP calculations and other termination payments, processing of superannuation payments)
• Bookkeeping (Xero, Quickbooks, etc) preparation (from time to time) and review, including:
Xero setup and training
Bank reconciliations
Accounts payable processing
Accounts receivable processing
Manual Journal entries
Reconciliations and review
Assisting bookkeeping team with adhoc matters as and when necessary
• Payroll calculations and related administration
KEY PROFESSIONAL SKILLSETS REQUIRED
Excellent time management skills and ability to work and communicate under pressure;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to work autonomously / self-motivated / accountable for own work;
• Strong in technology applications and process improvement mindset;
• Open to continuous improvement mindset
SYSTEMS EXPERIENCE
Candidates with experience in the below are of benefit, but not essential:
• Xero
• Quickbooks
