As a Customer Service Representative, You Will
- Provide customer service support for Durable Medical Equipment (DME) orders
- Answer general customer inquiries
- Take phone orders
- Provide order status updates
- Resolve complaints
Non-negotiables
- Has excellent communication skills
- 3 to 5 years of customer service experience
- Ability to type a minimum of 30 WPM with accuracy
- Experience with Health Insurance eligibility verification is a plus
- Experience with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) is a plus
- Strong English communication skills both verbal and written
- Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree preferred, but experience accepted commensurate with job requirements. (Not required)
- Brightree Software (preferred but not required) brightree.com
- Freshdesk, Zendesk, or equivalent help desk software experience.
- Microsoft Office365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, OneNote)
- Adobe Acrobat PDF (or equivalent pdf software)
- Microsoft Sharepoint (a plus)
- Zingtree or other script writing software (a plus)
- Process Street (a plus)
- Patience, Kindness, Empathy and Compassion for the disabled and elderly
- Strong Customer service background.
- Highly developed customer service and organizational skills.
- Strong research skills.
- Proficient at researching customer order history
- Ability to work well under pressure, meet timelines, and complete assigned projects
- Must have strong English written and oral communication skills in order to communicate with customers, vendors, and other staff members
- A commitment to provide exceptional customer service
- Must be able to handle difficult clients with compassion, empathy, and sensitivity
- Must know how to prioritize, multi‐task, plan and organize
- Must have an aptitude for finding solutions for customers
- Must be able to work alone as well as in teams
