For this role, our client is searching for a seasoned Insurance Claims Processor for damages who will be responsible for serving as the first point of contact for clients, ensuring a warm and professional first impression. This is a full-time position during Eastern Standard Time from 9AM - 5PM.
The following Job-related experience is required for potential candidates for this role:
- Must have at least a year of experience as a Damage Insurance Claims Processor or similar role.
- Must have strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships.
- Knowledge of roofing systems and exterior damages is a plus.
- Must have exceptional customer service skills with a client-focused approach.
- Must have strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple claims and maintain accurate records.
- Must have the ability to take training, initiative, and direction effectively while demonstrating a proactive approach to tasks.
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- Must have exceptional attendance and time management skills to ensure consistency and reliability.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients, greeting them in a professional, courteous, and energetic manner to ensure a positive first impression.
- Accurately gather and input client information into the database, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete, up-to date, and compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless communication and timely follow-up on client cases.
- Provide support to non-English-speaking clients by effectively communicating and translating information when necessary.
- Organize, manage, and maintain client records and files to ensure all information is easily accessible and properly documented.
- Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly, escalating complex cases to the appropriate team members when required.
- Work closely with team members to improve intake procedures, contributing to a positive and efficient work environment.
- Uphold the company’s standards for professionalism, accuracy, and exceptional customer service at all times.

Successful candidates for this role will be rewarded with the following benefits and compensation:
- A total of five paid vacation days per year (additional days can be taken unpaid).
- A 5% raise per year guaranteed (additional raises or bonuses may be given for outstanding performance).
- A paid 15-minute break for every 4 hours of work.
- Fully-paid healthcare benefits after 2 months of full-time work.
- Compensation range: $5.00 - $7.00 per hour.
*Vacation days increase by 1 vacation day per year. I.e. after one year of employment, the total paid vacation days on year 2 would be six, on year 3 seven, etc.
