Role Description

  • Design and develop IoT-based smart metering solutions for electricity consumption monitoring in properties.
  • Identify and evaluate the electricity monitoring needs of various property types (residential, commercial, industrial, etc.).
  • Assist in sourcing, evaluating, and testing hardware from various suppliers.

  • Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and industry standards for safety and performance.
  • Research and stay up to date with emerging technologies in smart metering and energy management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical systems design, energy monitoring, or IoT-based metering solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of electricity consumption monitoring technologies and metering standards.
  • Experience working with IoT sensors, smart meters, and communication protocols (e.g., LoRaWAN, Zigbee, MQTT, Modbus).
  • Familiarity with energy management systems (EMS) and building automation systems (BAS).
  • Hands-on experience in configuring and installing metering hardware.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including software developers and property management professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
