Role Summary:
The Data Engineer will be part of the Data Analytics team and will perform manipulation, maintenance and management of company data structures and will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure to support the organization's data-driven initiatives. Your primary focus will be on developing efficient data pipelines, integrating data from various sources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain database applications and scripts to ingest, extract, and modify structured and unstructured data.
- Design and optimize data pipelines for efficient data movement and transformation.
- Implement data integrity and quality control measures to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver business-critical insights.
- Actively participate in sprint planning and project management activities, ensuring timely deliverables.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication regarding project status and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong SQL experience is required
- Development experience in a cloud-based environment (AWS preferred) is required
- Proficiency with ETL tools such as Talend, Informatica, or Mulesoft.
- Must have experience with at least one scripting language (Python, R, Unix, Java)
- Data warehousing experience is a plus
- Big Data experience is a plus
- RPA experience is a plus

- Demonstrate business acumen and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Own project responsibilities and deliverables, ensuring transparency in progress and blockers.
- Adapt quickly to feedback and implement improvements effectively.
