Job Title: Junior Accountant (AU)
Work Schedule:
- 6:30am to 3:30pm – Mondays to Fridays
Work Specific Setup and Location
- One Ayala, Makati City (Office Based for at least 6 Mos during probationary period, subject to change upon permanency)
What you’ll be doing:
- Accurately record financial transactions using MYOB, Xero, and automation tool, ensuring efficiency and precision in managing client data.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes for clients, helping to ensure timely payments and collections while providing internal reporting to keep the team updated.
- Assist in preparation of periodic Activity Statements (BAS & IAS).
- Perform regular reconciliations of client bank accounts and key general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial records.
- Work closely with the internal bookkeeping and business services teams to meet client deliverables, providing updates on workflow progress and collaborating through tools like Asana.
- Assist senior accountant by handling routine accounting tasks, preparing reports, and ensuring all financial processes run smoothly, allowing them to focus on more complex issues and strategic planning.
What will make you a great fit:
- CPA or Non-CPA (BS Accountancy or Finance Graduate)
- At least 1 years of relevant experience in the Bookkeeping or Accounting Field (Australian Accounting Experience is preferred)
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Xero and MYOB software
- Takes ownership of the bookkeeper/accountant role.
