This position exists to manage and enhance our client's podcast production, allowing them to focus on delivering valuable mental health content while ensuring professional delivery across audio, video, and promotional materials. The Podcast Production Specialist will handle all technical aspects of podcast creation, from editing to distribution, enabling the client to expand their reach and impact in the mental health field.
The Impact you’ll make
Podcast Editing and Production
- Edit audio and video content using CapCut specifically
- Enhance sound quality and create a consistent listening experience
- Prepare final podcast episodes for publication across platforms
- Schedule and coordinate podcast guest appearances
- Prepare briefing materials for upcoming interviews
- Maintain organized communication with potential and confirmed guests
- Design engaging thumbnails that reflect episode themes
- Craft compelling titles and descriptions optimized for discovery
- Create and distribute newsletters featuring podcast content
- Utilize AI tools to streamline editing workflows
- Generate supplementary content such as show notes or transcripts
- Explore innovative ways to repurpose content across platforms
- Successful management of all the client's podcast content, meeting production timelines
- Consistent delivery of professionally edited podcast episodes on schedule
- Growth in podcast listener metrics (downloads, subscribers, engagement)
- Creation of high-quality promotional materials that maintain the professional image of a healthcare practice
Required:
- Proficiency with CapCut and other video editing software
- Previous experience editing podcasts (strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to create professional thumbnails and visual content
- Experience with or understanding of AI tools for content creation
- Portfolio demonstrating quality audio/video editing work
- WFH Set-Up:
- Computer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.
- Internet speed of at least 40MBPS
- Headset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam
- Back-up computer and internet connection
- Quiet, dedicated workspace at home
- Technical proficiency in audio and video editing
- Creative eye for visually appealing graphics and thumbnails
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality control
- Self-directed work ethic with strong time management
- Ability to maintain a consistent brand voice across different media formats
- Comfort working with health and wellness-related content
- You're passionate about mental health awareness and education
- You thrive when balancing creative work with technical precision
