Job Summary:

  • The Site Engineer is responsible for reporting all on-site construction activities to ensure project progress, quality, and compliance with safety protocols.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Part 1: On-site Resource Management:

  • Monitors and checks materials and equipment needed for the project upon delivery to the construction site.
  • Monitors subcontractors and vendors on the delivery, installation, or fabrication of works as per awarded scope of works. Ensuring they adhere to project specifications and safety protocols.
  • Submits daily reports on contractors’ manpower and site activities.

Part 2: On-site Quality Control:

  • Implements quality control measures to ensure construction work meets industry standards and project requirements following approved Quality Control Standards.
  • Conducts daily inspections and tests to identify defects or deficiencies and take corrective action as necessary with approval of Construction Manager
  • Ensures compliance of building codes, zoning regulations, and other legal requirements.

Part 3: On-site Communication and Reporting:

  • In charge of updates, progress, and issues to Construction Manager documented using Implementation Plan and Minutes of the Meeting
  • Prepare regular progress reports, schedule, and quality metrics.
  • Able to communicate clearly with Landlords/Building Administration for the needed House Rules, Testing and Permits on all site activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, civil engineering, construction management, or related field
  • Possess technical knowledge in detail drawings, construction process and management.
  • Possess knowledge on furniture, material and finishes.
  • Can read and understand Construction Plans and Bill of Quantities for execution at site.

Working Conditions:

  • The Construction Supervisor typically works on construction sites and may be exposed to various weather conditions and hazards.
  • They may need to work evenings, weekends, holidays or overtime to meet project deadlines or address emergencies.
  • Travel to different project sites may be required.
