Responsibilities
- Conduct contract performance monitoring on strategic procurement contracts to ensure that the service is being delivered in accordance with the agreed performance and quality levels set out in the contract.
- Provide legal advice specific to the procurement contract to concerned organizational units regarding interpretation, compliance, enforcement of obligations, imposition of penalties, and recovery of damages following the applicable claims management processes and dispute resolutions under the foregoing procurement contracts that have been entered into by/with the company.
- Work closely with procurement, finance, and project proponent teams to keep the change request and associated costs in check.
- Negotiate, conclude, and assist in updating the contracts after the change request is agreed upon with internal stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring unequivocal but favorable terms and conditions during contract implementation.
- Manage the contracts database for future reference.
