Qualifications:

  • Work Experience: 5 years of experience in time and motion studies, productivity and efficiency improvements/implementations, production planning, or a similar role in a processing or dressing plant operations.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Proficiency in ERP/MRP system and inventory management software.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning methodologies.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and familiarity with data analysis tools.

Job Description:

The PPIC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing production planning and inventory management in plant operations as support to plant operational objectives and targets. This role ensures the timely and efficient production of quality products within optimal inventory levels.

The PPIC Supervisor will coordinate with various departments to meet production goals, minimize waste, and maintain a smooth workflow.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Production Planning:

  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines
  • Analyze production capacities, equipment, and labor to ensure efficient allocation of resources
  • Monitor daily production progress and address deviations from the plan.

Inventory Monitoring:

  • Monitor raw materials work-in-progress and finished product inventory to prevent shortages or surpluses.

Coordination and Communication:

  • Liaise with quality assurance to ensure materials and products meet standards.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders regarding production schedules, delays or changes.
