JOB SUMMARY

The Sr. Creative Writer is primarily tasked to develop creative concepts and ideas, contribute to the creative strategy and execution of all products, advertising, and promotion materials, and translate brand strategies that drive customer engagement.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Interpret project briefs to develop and produce creative concepts through execution on assigned brands.
  • Initiates research to fully understand the client's needs and target audiences, through online searches, and reviews of existing research, may extend to interviews with subject matter experts, and in-person meetings where applicable.
  • Write original copy and edit content for a broad range of communications materials including but not limited to promotional and program materials for events and activations, corporate communications, corporate marketing materials, social media content, etc.
  • Collaborate with a team of account managers and creative staff from concept development to delivery of the final product.
  • Present copy concepts and final deliverables to the internal team, and to client representatives as needed, and participate in client pitches.
  • Revise copy based on internal and client feedback/direction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years professional writing experience with a solid portfolio of work in below-the-line advertising (events and activations), and/or Digital Advertising.
  • Exceptional writing and research skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and Keynote.
