Job Title: Property Maintenance Officer (Real Estate)

Location: Remote (Must have experience in Australian Real Estate)

Job Type: Full-Time

Working Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM Mel time

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee property maintenance requests from tenants and landlords.
  • Communicate effectively with property owners, tenants, and contractors to resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure all maintenance concerns are addressed efficiently with high-quality customer service.
  • Coordinate and schedule repairs, inspections, and maintenance services with external vendors.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, invoices, and service reports.
  • Provide exceptional customer support by handling inquiries and complaints with a calm and composed approach.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian tenancy laws and property management regulations.
  • Prepare reports and updates for property managers and landlords regarding ongoing maintenance work.
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Australian real estate/property management.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle queries and complaints professionally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize maintenance requests effectively.
  • Experience working with property management software (e.g., PropertyMe, Console Cloud, or similar).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of Australian property laws, rental agreements, and maintenance regulations.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in handling emergency property maintenance issues.
  • Familiarity with Australian building codes and landlord obligations.
  • Ability to negotiate with vendors and contractors for cost-effective solutions.

WORK FROM HOME REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 10 MBPS internet connection.
  • Backup internet connection (postpaid or prepaid).
  • Laptop or desktop with updated operating systems (at least core i5 or higher).
  • Backup laptop or desktop (at least core i5 or higher).
  • Headset with microphone for clear communication.
  • Willingness to use Time Doctor for monitoring.
  • Maintain a noise-free work environment during working hours.
  • Must not be currently employed full time elsewhere.
