We are hiring for a full-service law firm based in the Philippines, specializing in a wide range of legal services, including corporate law, litigation, intellectual property, labor law, and real estate. The firm provides expert legal counsel to both businesses and individuals, helping clients navigate complex legal matters with a focus on practical solutions and client satisfaction. With a team of experienced professionals, Ajalaw is dedicated to delivering high-quality legal services tailored to meet the diverse needs of its clients.

In general, the OFFICE MANAGER (“OM”) is responsible for keeping the firm running smoothly and efficiently with respect to administrative matters. The responsibilities of the OM cover a broad range of administrative matters including personnel (non-legal) management, property and supplies management, utilities and services management, information and confidentiality management and top-level reporting. The OM will be reporting to and will be under the control and supervision of the Managing Partner (“MP”).

In particular, the responsibilities of the OM may include the following:

1. Personnel Management (Non-legal)

2. Property and Supplies Management

3. Utilities and Services Management

4. Information and Confidentiality Management

5. Top-Level Reporting and Recommending

6. Other Responsibilities

· Creating or recommending rules or systems to enhance any aspect covered by the OM’s responsibility

· Enforcing all rules, regulations, policies, or systems related to the above responsibilities

· Participating actively in the planning and execution of company events

· Remaining updated on technical and professional knowledge by attending educational workshops and the like

· Other responsibilities related to the job of the OM

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

At least 3 years of experience in office management, administration, or a similar role.

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Candidate from the same industry is preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.

Familiarity with HR and finance functions is a plus.

Additional Details:

Work Set up and Schedule - Mon to Friday reports to the office from 9am to 6pm, Sat 9am - 6pm WFH/on call for queries via teams app (no office on sat, but the partners may just have some queries, employee must just be ready to respond to these.

How many direct reports - Reports directly to Managing Partner, handles non legal staff of 10-15
