The IT Audit Officer/Associate ensures that audit engagements are executed in accordance with the prescribed audit procedures, standards and timetable in order to provide quality audit results for the improvement of the Bank's internal controls and operations.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Executes the engagement audit program as approved by the IT Audit Department Head
  • Prepares all audit working papers subject for review by IT Audit Section Head and Department Head.
  • Maintains an objective state of mind and an appropriate level of professional skepticism and performs all work with due care
  • Seeks and provides upward feedback
  • Communicates findings and issues with the audit team as appropriate on a timely basis
  • Researches and documents facts as directed by the IT Audit Section Head
  • Understands the decisions taken to resolve significant findings and issues
  • Coordinates with the IT Audit Section Head and plans decisions at the beginning of the audit engagement
  • Performs all audit procedures and ensures that working papers are submitted to the IT Audit Section Head for review
  • Prepares initial audit observations for review of IT Audit Section Head
  • Completes fact checking process with the auditees.
  • Participates with the IT Audit Section Head in the overall evaluation of results of the audit
  • Ensures compliance to internal auditing policies and standards and contributes to the effective implementation of the Quality Assurance and Improvement Program of IAG.

Qualification Requirements:
  • College graduate with a degree in Accounting, Accounting Information System, Internal Auditing, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science or other related field
  • Fresh graduates or applicants with no related/professional experience are considered (IT Audit Associate)
  • Preferably with at least 2 years relevant experience as an auditor (IT Audit Officer)
  • Relevant certifications (CPA, CIA or CISA) is an advantage
  • With basic understanding of Accounting, Auditing and Internal Controls (complete understanding for IT Audit Officer)
  • Possesses good writing, analytical and documentation skills (excellent for IT Audit Officer)
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively handle assigned audit projects under the supervision of IT Audit Section Head
  • Demonstrates potential leadership skill (IT Audit Officer)
  • Demonstrates excellence in communication, interpersonal, negotiation and leadershi skills
