About the Role - Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing & Implementing F&B Strategies: Create and execute strategies to increase revenue, enhance guest satisfaction, and improve food and beverage offerings in collaboration with the Head Chef.
  • Managing F&B Staff: Hire, train, and lead a team of servers, bartenders, and other F&B employees. Set performance standards, provide feedback, and address employee concerns. Collaborate with Executive Chef and Kitchen Managers to ensure proper staffing.
  • Menu Planning: Ensure menus align with the restaurant’s brand and standards, taking into account guest preferences and dietary needs.
  • Maximizing Revenue: Monitor pricing strategies to maximize revenue while maintaining guest satisfaction and product quality. Analyze sales reports, identify trends, and develop strategies for profitability.
  • Monitoring Bookings & Banquet Functions: Work closely with the Events Coordinator to oversee bookings and special events. Ensure all requirements are communicated to Front of House (FOH) staff and chefs, exceeding guest expectations.
  • Maintaining Quality Control: Ensure that all food and beverage items meet quality standards and are prepared and served according to recipes and procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control of beverages, tableware, service items, cleaning supplies, uniforms, and other necessary items. Coordinate with Kitchen Managers to ensure that food items are available for service.
  • Compliance with Regulations: Ensure all F&B operations comply with food safety, sanitation, and licensing regulations. Enforce adherence to company F&B standards and operational policies as outlined in the Operations and Code of Conduct manuals.
  • Health & Safety Inspections: Conduct daily inspections of restaurant and equipment to ensure compliance with hygiene, food handling, and safety standards.
  • Restaurant Presentation: Ensure the restaurant maintains a high standard of cleanliness and ambiance at all times.
  • Management Reporting: Communicate with the owners about sales results, employee productivity, petty cash, inventory, food and beverage costs, waste, spoilage, and customer feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an F&B Manager or in a similar managerial role in a food and beverage environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, inventory management, and customer service excellence.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of local food safety, sanitation regulations, and licensing laws.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • High attention to detail and passion for maintaining quality standards.
